From St. Petersburg with Love
So called Venice of the North was always one of my favourite travel destinations, as in Russia’s second biggest city a unique active history is merging with that typical hedonistic life style only Russia has on offer. One major event caused me to visit world’s most nothern metropolis: Fortdance, a festival taking place in July and having an exceptional venue, the Fort Alexander I. In view of its high count of sights and cultural artifacts, I didn’t hesitate to spend more time in St. Pete than only a weekend.
