Mara Soundsystem at Klatka, Warsaw (PL)

High pressure over Russia, that’s what controlled the temperatures when arriving in winterly Warsaw. Buddy Peer and I made the way from central station to Klatka club a record-breaking time. The small venue was already crowded while DJ Hagal dropped house groove after house groove while Barry Gilbey and his wife Sarah already waited to start their performance. At about 1 o’clock they took over without knowing that the next 2.5 hours will be a top-class gig, energetic and not leaving your feet a rest. While Barry played a pumping selection of tribal-spiced electro, Sarah’s vocals and effects gave the whole show an inimitable live atmosphere.
